The ZipSTOP brake system is an innovative solution for zip lines that ensures safe, smooth, and controlled braking. Using magnetic technology, the braking force automatically adjusts to the rider’s arrival speed, providing a comfortable stop without the need for active braking. This allows for the design of zip lines with steeper descents and higher speeds, without compromising safety.

A major advantage of ZipSTOP is that it eliminates the risk of braking errors, which can lead to unwanted situations. The system automatically resets after each use and performs optimally in various weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for zip line operators around the world.

Which ZipSTOP is right for your zip line?

There are three different versions of the ZipSTOP brake system, tailored to different arrival speeds:

• ZipSTOP – Suitable for zip lines with arrival speeds between 6 and 36 km/h.
• ZipSTOP IR – Designed for higher speeds, between 6 and 60 km/h.
• ZipSTOP Speed – The most powerful model, handling speeds from 0 to 72 km/h.

Choosing the right ZipSTOP brake system depends on the zip line’s speed at the arrival point. For high-speed zip lines, we recommend the ZipSTOP Speed, which ensures a smooth and safe stop even at extreme speeds.

Service and Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, the unit must undergo annual service and recertification. Our service center is certified by HeadRush Technologies as the official service center in Norway and the rest of the Nordic region.

How to send your unit in for service:

1. Fill out the service form – Register your unit.
2. Receive confirmation – You will get information about shipping and delivery.
3. Send the unit to the service center – We will inspect, maintain, and recertify your unit.
